Marvel wins big at the MTV Movie and TV Awards

WandaVision collected four awards, including best show at the MTV Movie & TV Awards.

The fan-voted award show could host an in-person event after having to go virtual last year due to the pandemic.

Marvel won big as the Disney+ series WandaVision took home the night's big honor with "Best Show." The show's star Elizabeth Olsen won best performance in a show for her portrayal of Wanda, and actress Kathryn Han took home the award for Best Villain.

Elizabeth Olsen told Marvel fans that they were "just the greatest fans anyone can have, and I've loved playing this part for seven years," as she gave her speech while collecting her award.

Elizabeth Olsen wasn't the only Avenger to win an award that night. Our new Captain America Anthony Mackie also took home an award for his Best Hero for his role in Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Anthony Mackie also won the award for Best Duo with Sebastian Stan.

OG Avenger Scarlett Johansson won the honorable Generation Award for her work in entertainment, which spans two decades. However, her thank you speech took a turn as she was covered in slime by her husband, Saturday Night Live comedian Colin Jost.

Fans also got a glimpse of the new show Loki coming to Disney+ on June 9.

With Loki, Black Widow, and much more content on the way, Marvel is already getting started on bringing some heavy competition to next year's awards.

Did you vote for any of these shows to win, or did you think another show deserved the honor? Let me know in the comments.
