We finally know the name of the third movie...maybe.
After much trolling from the cast, fans finally got the name of Spider-Man 3, which will be Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Now, I don't know about you guys, but that sounds like a multiverse title if I ever did hear one. On last night's Jimmy Fallon, Tom Holland once again said he has no idea where anyone's getting the idea that his Spider-Man predecessors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will be in the movie, but if you were under a tight Marvel/Sony NDA, you'd probably lie too.
Some of the "fake titles" from the cast included Phone Home, Homewrecker (not gonna lie; that one was pretty good), and Home Slice, but it looks like the team finally found one they can agree on.
As for my theory, I personally think the fake titles are a hint for the multiverse and the different Spider-Men we're gonna see. No. I am not letting this multiverse theory go until I see it for myself (let me have this!).
And if you missed it, watch the No Way Home video again and pay close attention to the ending, which shows a "glitch" very reminiscent of WandaVision. This further plays into multiverse theories floating around the past few months about Spider-Man 3, WandaVision, and the also upcoming Dr. Strange movie Multiverse of Madness.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will swing into theatres on Christmas Day.
How do you feel about the new title? Let me know in the poll below.
