The Bat and the Cat: Here's A Look at Batman and Catwoman in The Batman

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for Matt Reeves' Batman, dubbed "The Bat and the Cat," about the feud between Batman and Catwoman in the film.

A new trailer for The Batman delves deeper into the complex relationship between Selina Kyle (Zoe Kravitz) and masked crusader Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson). Aside from Kravitz, the trailer does a great job of giving us a true sense of what the action and tone of the film will look like, which seems to include some of Nolan's favorite looks from the Batman trilogy with a rougher, more violent look.

In his second year of crime-fighting, Batman discovers corruption in Gotham City that ties into his own family when confronting a serial killer known as The Riddler who is determined to destroy the Wayne family and willing to kill to do so. While the uneasy union between Batman and Catwoman is also explored, I hope the reference to Bruce Wayne's wealth at the beginning, which is often used as a means of criticism by fans who feel Bruce could help Gotham a lot more with his money instead of wearing a bulletproof Bat-suit is also explored if for no other reason to end the countless social media debates.

Accordingly, the trailer gives us the broadest look at the complex relationship between Pattinson's Batman and Kravitz Catwoman so far. It looks like they'll be enemies just as much as partners in this film.
