You need to watch Into the Spider-verse before it leaves Netflix this week

The Academy-Award winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is still one of the best superhero movies of all time, two years later.

You probably already know the story about the Afro-Latino teenager from Brooklyn, Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), who, like his mentor Peter Parker gets bit by a radioactive spider and takes over the mantle in his universe while meeting the other Spider-Men (Spider-people?) from other dimensions. The movie is already beloved and has the brag-worthy Academy Award for the 2018 best-animated film to prove it (as it should!).

Miles is unapologetically Brooklyn from his untied Air Jordans to his love for Biggie. He is easily unlike any Superhero we've ever seen, and I think that's what makes him so lovable. Unfortunately, if you're like me and have been watching Into the Spiderverse on Netflix, you have until Christmas (the audacity to do this on holiday) to watch Spiderverse before it's taken off the platform.

There's been no word on where the movie will go next for streaming, which is why I'm giving in and buying it so another streaming service can't just break my heart like this. It's available for purchase on Amazon Prime, Vudu, Youtube, and Google Play if you're interested in buying it yourself. If you have a Playstation 4, you can also buy it there and then watch it after playing the incredible Spiderman: Miles Morales game, which in my humble opinion is game of the year.

But if you somehow missed the movie when it was in theaters or want to watch while you can still stream, now is the time to check it out. It’s a movie for the entire family.
